These are the important deadlines and dates for students in undergraduate academic programs. 

  • Dates may vary for graduate programs, International students and activities at regional campuses.

September 21MondayLast day for full withdrawal from Fall Semester with 90% tuition refund.
September 21MondayLast day for partial withdrawal from Fall Semester with 100% refund for individual courses. (Must remain enrolled in other courses).
September 22TuesdayFall Semester fees are due and calculated based on course enrolment as of this date.
September 23WednesdayAny unpaid Fall Semester fees will be assessed a 5% late payment fee.
September 29TuesdayLast day to drop a Fall Semester course to receive a 50% refund of fees.
September 30WednesdayNational Day for Truth and Reconciliation; University closed.
October 1ThursdayFirst day to submit applications for academic programs beginning September 2027.
October 12MondayThanksgiving Day; University closed.
October 13TuesdayClasses scheduled on Tuesday, October 13 are cancelled and replaced by classes scheduled on a Monday.
October 16FridayLast day to apply for student loan funding for students attending Fall Semester only.
October 16FridayRecommended deadline to apply for student loan funding for Spring Semester classes.
October 30FridayDeadline to complete and submit online Scholarship, Award and Bursary Profile.
November 1SundayAny unpaid Fall Semester fees will be assessed an additional 5% late payment fee.
November 11WednesdayRemembrance Day; University closed.
November 9-13Monday-FridayFall Semester Study Days for academic programs.
November 30MondayLast day for academic penalty-free withdrawal from all Fall Semester courses, or program, or to change from credit to audit (or vice-versa) in academic programs.
December 11FridayLast day of classes for Fall Semester.
December 11FridayLast day for overdue Fall Semester fees to be paid to avoid deregistration from any future course enrolments.
December 14MondayFirst day of final examinations.
