These are the important deadlines and dates for students in undergraduate academic programs. 

  • Dates may vary for graduate programs, International students and activities at regional campuses.
  • For the application deadlines for specific programs check the specific program in the program calendar.
  • For graduate program start dates, end dates, and other dates and deadlines please consult the specific program in the program calendar or the individual program's web page.

September 15MondayLast day for partial withdrawal from Fall Semester with 100% refund for individual courses. (Must remain enrolled in other courses).
September 16TuesdayFall Semester fees are due and calculated based on course enrolment as of this date.
September 17WednesdayAny unpaid Fall Semester fees will be assessed a 5% late payment fee.
September 29MondayLast day to drop a Fall Semester course to receive a 50% refund of fees.
September 30TuesdayNational Day for Truth and Reconciliation; University closed.
October 1WednesdayFirst day to submit applications for academic programs beginning September 2026.
October 9ThursdayLast day to apply for student loan funding for students attending Fall Semester only.
October 13MondayThanksgiving Day; University closed.
October 14TuesdayClasses scheduled on Tuesday, October 14 are cancelled and replaced by classes scheduled on a Monday.
October 17FridayRecommended deadline to apply for student loan funding for Spring Semester classes.
October 30ThursdayDeadline to complete and submit online Scholarship, Award and Bursary Profile.
November 1SaturdayAny unpaid Fall Semester fees will be assessed an additional 5% late payment fee.
November 11TuesdayRemembrance Day; University closed.
November 10-14Monday-FridayFall Semester Study Days for academic programs.
November 24MondayLast day for academic penalty-free withdrawal from a Fall Semester course or program, or to change from credit to audit (or vice-versa) in academic programs.
December 5FridayLast day of classes for Fall Semester.
December 5FridayLast day for overdue Fall Semester fees to be paid to avoid deregistration from any future course enrolments.
December 8MondayFirst day of final examinations.
